Frozen precipitation looks likely through the remainder of the day today. It also looks likely for most of North Texas tomorrow with temperatures at or below freezing. It appears as though it will take until Thursday morning to transition back over to a liquid rain before this system finally moves out of the area late on Thursday.

Today, sleet is likely through mid afternoon – then freezing rain will be the primary precipitation type adding a glazing of ice to the sleet covered roads. Travel will go from hazardous currently to treacherous through tomorrow.
