From William Cole: A Winter Storm Watch has been extended in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area from 12:00 PM Friday until 12:00 PM Sunday for Anderson, Bosque, Freestone, Hamilton, Henderson, Hill, Navarro, Rains & Van Zandt Counties in North Texas.

Moderate to heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 1 to 2 inches. Ice accumulations between a quarter of an inch to one third of an inch (0.25-0.33) are also possible. The forecast amounts are subject to change as new data arrives.

From William Cole: A Winter Storm Watch has been extended in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area from 12:00 PM Friday until 12:00 PM Sunday for Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Delta, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hopkins, Hunt, Jack, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise & Young Counties in North Texas.

Moderate to heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with higher amounts near and along the Red River. Ice accumulations between one tenth and one quarter of an inch (0.10-0.25) are also possible. The forecast amounts are subject to change as new data arrives.
