For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of America:Active Systems:The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on TropicalStorm Dexter, located over the northwestern Atlantic Ocean.Central Tropical Atlantic:A tropical wave moving off the west coast of Africa is currentlyproducing only limited shower activity. In a few days, environmentalconditions are forecast to become favorable for gradual developmentof this system, and a tropical depression could form by the latterportion of this week as it moves generally west-northwestward acrossthe central tropical Atlantic.* Formation chance through 48 hours low near 0 percent.* Formation chance through 7 days medium 50 percent.Off the Southeastern United States:A broad area of low pressure is forecast to develop in a couple ofdays a few hundred miles off the coast of the southeastern UnitedStates.
