Tornado Watch Likely

2 PM- The Storm Prediction Center says a Tornado Watch will be issued soon west of North Texas out in the Big Country down toward the Permian Basin. We’ll be monitoring that activity this evening.

Severe Risk Today

The risk of severe weather returns to North Texas later today. Storms will try and form along a dryline out in the Big Country. Any storms that form would track east eventually into North Texas this evening. Conditions are not overly favorable for severe weather in our coverage area, but any storms that is able to make it into North Texas later this evening and tonight could be severe with a hail and wind threat.
