At 317 PM , Live Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have already fallen, and additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

WHAT Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. WHERE Portions of north central and northeast Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas, Bosque, Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hill, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, McLennan, Montague, Navarro, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise. In northeast Texas, Delta, Henderson, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt. WHEN Through Sunday afternoon. IMPACTS Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
