ALERT 3:46 PM | Flash Flood Warning Kaufman County until 6:30 PM Friday

From William Cole: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area for Kaufman County in North Texas until 6:30 PM.

At 346 PM , emergency management reported flash flooding ongoing in parts of Kaufman county due to heavy rainfall. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches per hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible. Flash flooding is already occurring, with many roads becoming impassable. Some high water rescues are in progress in the town of Kaufman.

Remember if you see water across a roadway do not drive through it. Turn Around Don’t Drown.
