WHAT Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. WHERE Eastern Central Texas. WHEN Sunday morning through Sunday evening. IMPACTS Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. ADDITIONAL DETAILS – Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts over 4 inches possible. The heaviest rain is expected to fall Sunday afternoon.

ALERT 6:19 PM | Flash Flood Warning Kaufman County until 8:00 PM Friday

From William Cole: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area for Kaufman County in North Texas until 8:00 PM.

At 619 PM , emergency management reported flash flooding across southern and central portions of Kaufman county, with high water rescues occurring in the town of Kaufman. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional heavy rainfall is expected.

Remember if you see water across a roadway do not drive through it. Turn Around Don’t Drown.

At 604 PM , a severe T-Storm capable of producing a tornado was located over Grand Saline, or 12 miles west of Mineola, moving northeast at 35 mph.

At 555 PM , Live Radar was tracking strong T-Storms along a line extending from near Fruitvale to near Trinidad. Movement was east at 30 mph.

Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph And Nickel Size Hail. Gusty Winds Could Knock Down Tree Limbs And Blow Around Unsecured Objects. Minor Damage To Outdoor Objects Is Possible.
