It’s a cool but dry start to our Monday morning commute in the DFW Metroplex. Expect temperatures around 50 with a light chilly northeast breeze.

A few showers will be possible late tomorrow (Monday) afternoon into the evening. This will generally be from I-20 to the south. No severe weather is anticipated and any rainfall rates will be relatively light.

Another beautiful evening is on tap to enjoy dinner on the patio or walk the dog. Temperatures will be easing down through the 60s with fair skies.

The risk of severe weather returns to North Texas this upcoming Thursday and Friday. Right now, storms late on Thursday afternoon look to be isolated to scattered because of a strong cap however, by late evening Thursday into Friday as a cold front arrives in the area a broken line of storms will form and push across the area – shifting the severe risk east on Friday. This is still several days away so we are still ironing out the exact details and will keep you updated over the next few days. Hail, wind and a few tornado warnings appear possible with this set up.
