Rain Chances Today and Tomorrow

Rain and storm chances return to the forecast in North Texas as a summer cold front pushes into the area today. Late this afternoon rain and storm chances will be best from I-20 to the south. The activity will be scattered and spotty so not everyone will receive rain, but heavy downpours, vivid lightning and gusty wind would be possible. Tomorrow morning one more round of rain and storms moves across the area. Then expect a mostly dry Thursday afternoon with highs in the 80’s. An isolated severe storm or two is possible with wind gusts up to 60 mph, but widespread severe weather is not anticipated.
