From William Cole: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued in the Weather Tracker TV DFW coverage area for Denton County in North TX until 10:00 PM.

At 652 PM , Live Radar and automated rain gauges indicated T-Storms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches with isolated higher amounts in excess of 5 inches of rain has fallen since late afternoon. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Remember if you see water across a roadway do not drive through it. Turn Around Don’t Drown.

For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:Central Tropical Atlantic:A broad and elongated area of low pressure located several hundredmiles east of the Lesser Antilles is producing a large area ofdisorganized showers and T-Storms. Although environmentalconditions are only marginally conducive, some gradual developmentof this system is expected over the next several days and a tropicaldepression is likely to form later this week. The disturbance isforecast to move slowly toward the west and then west-northwest at 5to 10 mph, toward the adjacent waters of the northern LeewardIslands. Quick check of rainfall totals so far today and overnight. Texomaland was the real winner with over 3 inches of rain. A small pocked of 1.50+ in Dallas county and then a generous rain out in our western counties as well. More scattered rain is on the way today.
