There is a risk of severe weather later this afternoon – after 4 pm – in North Texas. The activity today will be scattered meaning – some folks will have a storm but a lot of us will stay dry. If you do have a storm in your area there is a risk it may be severe with a half dollar sized hail and a winds to 60 mph threat. The overall tornado threat is low. Storms are possible during the evening commute in the Metroplex so please do keep that in mind.
