North Texas settles into a quiet and comfortable night across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies will stay clear, winds will be light, and temperatures will ease into the lower 60s by Thursday morning. It will be a pleasant evening for outdoor plans, though the air will turn a little cool late.
Thursday brings abundant sunshine with a warmer afternoon ahead. Highs will reach the upper 80s in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Denton, and surrounding communities. A light northeast to east breeze will offer little relief during the warmest part of the day.
The dry pattern holds through Friday and the weekend, with mostly sunny skies, highs generally in the upper 80s, and mild nights in the mid to upper 60s. Columbus Day looks sunny and warm, too, with temperatures continuing near the upper 80s. No rain or storm concerns are expected across the Metroplex through early next week.
