Tonight will be quiet across Dallas–Fort Worth, with mostly clear skies, light south winds, and lows settling into the mid-70s.
Saturday brings more sunshine and another hot afternoon, with highs climbing into the upper 90s to near 100. Sunday stays hot as well, although clouds will gradually increase late in the day.
Rain and storm chances return Sunday night, especially after midnight. Coverage looks scattered across the Metroplex, with the better chance north and west of Dallas–Fort Worth. A few showers or storms may linger into Monday, but most of the day should turn partly sunny. Temperatures will ease slightly, with highs in the lower to mid-90s.
The extended forecast stays mainly dry and seasonably hot. Highs will generally run in the lower to mid-90s Tuesday through Thursday, while overnight lows dip into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Plan for possible wet roads and lightning delays late Sunday night into Monday morning.
