Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Tonight will stay mostly clear across DFW, with warm, muggy lows in the upper 70s and light southeast winds. Thursday brings another mostly sunny and oppressive afternoon, with highs near 100 and heat index values of 105 to 107. Though today’s Heat Advisory expires at 8 p.m., heat safety will remain important through the end of the workweek.

Friday and Saturday stay dry, bright, and very hot, with highs in the upper 90s to near 100. Sunday remains hot, but clouds increase late, and a few showers may develop overnight. Rain chances rise to 40 percent Monday, when scattered showers and a few afternoon thunderstorms may interrupt the heat. Tuesday stays unsettled at times, while highs ease into the lower to mid-90s.

Plan outdoor activities early and take frequent shade and water breaks during the hottest part of the day.
