Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A clear and warm night is ahead across Dallas-Fort Worth, with lows only falling into the upper 70s under a mostly clear sky. South winds will remain light, and the humidity will keep it feeling muggy well after sunset.

Wednesday brings another full day of sunshine and intense heat. Highs will reach near 100 degrees across the Metroplex, with afternoon heat index values climbing into the 105 to 107 degree range. The Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM Wednesday.

The heat does not go anywhere Thursday through Saturday, with highs in the upper 90s to near 100 each day. Thursday may feel especially oppressive, with heat index values near 110 in spots. Rain chances stay low until late Sunday night, followed by scattered showers and a few thunderstorms Monday. Temperatures should ease into the lower 90s Monday.

Limit strenuous afternoon outdoor activity, drink plenty of water, and never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
