Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Tonight, the Metroplex will turn partly to mostly cloudy, with an isolated shower or thunderstorm possible after midnight. Rain chances are highest east of Dallas, while Fort Worth may stay dry. It will remain warm and humid, with lows in the mid to upper 70s.

Thursday brings a better, though still hit-or-miss, chance for showers and thunderstorms. A few showers could arrive in the morning, followed by scattered afternoon development. Expect mostly cloudy skies early, some afternoon sun, and highs in the lower to middle 90s. No widespread severe weather is expected, but lightning and brief downpours can disrupt outdoor plans.

Friday trends hotter and mainly dry, although a stray morning shower remains possible. The long holiday weekend looks sunny and intensely hot, with highs in the upper 90s to near 100 and heat index values near 105 to 110.

Limit outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day and keep hydrated.
