Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Tonight will stay very warm across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with lows only falling into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Skies will be partly cloudy, and an isolated evening shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out, but most neighborhoods will remain dry.

Saturday brings another dangerous round of heat. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs near 105 to 107 degrees, with heat index values pushing near 110. The Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through 8 PM Saturday, so outdoor plans will require frequent breaks, shade, and plenty of water. A stray afternoon or evening storm is possible, but rain coverage will be limited.

Sunday through Tuesday stays brutally hot, with afternoon highs generally from 105 to 110 and heat index values as high as 115. A slight storm chance returns at times late Monday through Wednesday, but widespread rain is not expected. Temperatures may ease closer to 100 by late week.

Heat is the primary concern. Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon and check on vulnerable neighbors.
