Tonight in the Dallas–Fort Worth area will be mostly clear and warm, with south winds near 5 mph and lows near 80 degrees. It will offer little relief after another dangerously hot afternoon, as the Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM.
Tuesday brings full sunshine and another high near 105 degrees across the Metroplex. A light southwest breeze will do little to take the edge off, and afternoon heat index values may approach 108. Tuesday night stays clear and muggy, with lows in the lower 80s.
The heat holds firm Wednesday, with highs around 103 to 105 and feels-like temperatures near 110 to 112 during the afternoon. Temperatures ease only slightly late this week and through the weekend, but highs will still hover near 100 each day under mostly sunny skies. No meaningful rain chances or storm threats are expected in the Metroplex.
Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon, drink plenty of water, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
