Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Tonight stays clear and very warm across Dallas-Fort Worth, with lows only slipping into the upper 70s and a light south breeze continuing. It will offer little relief after another hot afternoon.

Sunday brings more sunshine and even more heat. Highs should reach 101 to 103 degrees across the Metroplex, with heat index values approaching 105 to 107 at times. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM Sunday, so outdoor plans will need extra water, shade, and frequent breaks.

The heat will not let up early next week. Monday may be the hottest day, with highs near 103 to 104. Most afternoons through Friday will top out between 100 and 105 degrees, while humidity pushes apparent temperatures close to 110, especially Wednesday and Thursday. Rain and storm chances remain near zero for the Metroplex through the workweek.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon heat, and never leave children or pets in a vehicle.
