Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas is in for another bright, dry, and very hot Sunday. Dallas-Fort Worth will see plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs in the upper 90s, while communities north and east of the Metroplex may hold in the mid-90s. A light north breeze offers little relief, and there is no rain or storm chance.

Skies stay clear tonight, with temperatures falling into the lower to middle 70s by daybreak. Winds will be light as they shift around to the east and southeast.

Monday turns even hotter. Expect full sunshine and highs near 100 degrees across much of DFW, with a light southeast wind. The heat continues to build Tuesday and beyond, when afternoon temperatures reach the low 100s and heat index values could climb above 105.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the afternoon, drink water often, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
