Today’s DFW Forecast

Another dangerous heat day is ahead across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect abundant sunshine, southwest winds near 5 to 10 mph, and afternoon highs around 102 to 104 degrees. Humidity will push heat index values as high as 109 to 113, and a Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 p.m. Limit strenuous outdoor time, drink plenty of water, and check on those most vulnerable to the heat.

Tonight will stay very warm, with lows near 80 under partly cloudy skies. A brief, isolated shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out this evening across northern parts of the Metroplex, including Denton and Collin counties, but most locations will remain dry.

Saturday brings a modest break from the extreme heat as north winds arrive. Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 90s, with lower 70s Saturday night.

Heat remains the main concern today. Take extra precautions if working or spending time outdoors.
