Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A quiet but very warm night is ahead across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies will stay mostly clear with south winds at 5 to 10 mph, and temperatures will only ease into the upper 70s to near 80 by daybreak.

Monday brings another full day of intense summer heat. Expect abundant sunshine, afternoon highs near 101 to 102 degrees, and heat index values around 110. The Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM Monday, but the heat will not be going anywhere after it expires.

Tuesday looks just as hot, with highs near 102 and feels-like temperatures climbing into the 110s. The pattern stays largely dry through the workweek, with highs near or above 100 each afternoon and warm nights in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Friday may be the hottest day, with some areas feeling as warm as 115. A slight shower chance may return Saturday morning.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon, drink plenty of water, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
