– At 7:49 AM, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over eastern Hopkins County, mainly between Sulphur Bluff and Saltillo
**What to Expect:**
– Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms
– Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen
– Rapid rises on White Oak Bayou and its tributaries are ongoing or expected to begin shortly
– Locations included in this warning include Saltillo, Pine Forest, Weaver, Flora, and Dike
**Potential Impacts:**
– Flash flooding of small creeks and streams
– Flooding in urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses
– Flooding in other poor drainage and low-lying areas
**What to Do Now:**
– Turn around, don’t drown if you encounter flooded roads
– Most flood deaths occur in vehicles
