Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas stays quiet and summerlike today, with plenty of sunshine across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 90s, with a steady south breeze around 10 to 15 mph making it feel a little hotter at times. No rain is expected, so it’s a good day to plan around the heat.

Tonight will stay mostly clear and warm, with temperatures only falling into the upper 70s. Winds ease a bit overnight, but it will still be a very mild summer night.

Tomorrow looks much the same, with full sun and highs again pushing the upper 90s across the Metroplex. The hot pattern holds through the rest of the week, and by Friday into the holiday weekend, some spots will be near 100 with heat index values climbing above 105. Rain chances remain very low until Sunday, when a few isolated afternoon storms may return.

The main impact through the next several days is the building heat, especially heading into the Fourth of July weekend. Be sure to pace yourself outdoors and stay hydrated.
