Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A quiet and muggy night is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Skies will stay mostly clear with lows settling into the mid 70s, and a light south breeze will continue overnight.

Sunday turns hotter and breezier with plenty of sunshine. Afternoon highs will climb into the low to mid 90s, but it will feel more like 105 to 108 thanks to the humidity. South winds will pick up through the day, especially by afternoon, so it will have more of a summer feel across the Metroplex.

The heat stays in place Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 90s and heat index values pushing near 108 to 110 at times. Rain chances remain fairly limited for Dallas and Fort Worth through early week, but a few storms may begin to edge into North Texas late Sunday night north and northeast of the Metroplex, with better scattered storm chances arriving by Wednesday. Those midweek storms could help knock temperatures back a few degrees into the lower 90s.

Heat will be the main issue through Tuesday, especially during the afternoon. Be sure to take breaks and stay hydrated if you’ll be outside.
