Today’s DFW Forecast

A quiet but warm day is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect mostly sunny skies with afternoon highs in the lower 90s, along with a steady south breeze that picks up a bit later today. Humidity will be noticeable, but the bigger heat arrives tomorrow.

Tonight stays warm and muggy with partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid 70s. Most of the Metroplex should stay dry overnight.

Thursday turns significantly hotter. Highs will climb into the upper 90s across DFW, and when you factor in the humidity, it’ll feel closer to 108 to 110 during the afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon through 9 PM Thursday, so limit time outside if you can and stay hydrated. By Thursday night, clouds increase and a few showers or thunderstorms may begin to develop, especially later at night.

Juneteenth looks a little less hot, with highs dropping back into the low to mid 90s, but rain chances increase with scattered showers and thunderstorms around.

Heat will be the main concern Thursday, followed by a growing chance for late-night and holiday rain.
