Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas will stay fairly typical for mid-June today, with a warm and humid mix of clouds and sun across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Highs should reach the lower 90s, and while many neighborhoods stay dry, a few scattered showers and thunderstorms could pop up from late morning into the afternoon. Coverage looks spotty, but a brief downpour and lightning will be possible where storms develop.

Tonight turns partly cloudy and muggy with lows in the upper 70s. Winds stay light out of the south, and most of the Metroplex should be quiet overnight.

Tomorrow looks hotter with more sunshine and highs climbing into the mid 90s. Humidity will remain in place, so it will feel a bit more uncomfortable during the afternoon. Most of Saturday appears rain-free for DFW, although a few storms may try to develop north of the Metroplex late Saturday night.

Looking ahead, the better chance for widespread rain and storms arrives Sunday into Monday, along with a drop in temperatures early next week.
