Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas stays on the warm and quiet side today, with plenty of sunshine across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Afternoon highs will climb into the lower to middle 90s, and with the humidity in place, it may feel closer to 100 at times. A steady south breeze around 10 to 15 mph will continue through the day.

Tonight will stay muggy, with lows only dropping into the upper 70s. Most of the evening looks dry, but a few showers or thunderstorms may develop late tonight, especially after midnight. The better chances appear to be north and northeast of Dallas-Fort Worth, though a stray storm can’t be ruled out in the Metroplex.

Tomorrow starts with a small chance for a leftover morning shower or storm, then turns mostly sunny again. Highs will return to the lower to middle 90s with humid conditions sticking around.

Looking ahead, the hotter weather peaks Saturday with upper 90s and heat index values over 100, before better rain chances arrive late Sunday into Monday with a cooler trend.
