Today’s DFW Forecast

The Metroplex will stay mainly dry for most of today, with a mix of sun and building heat. Afternoon highs will climb into the lower to mid 90s, hottest on the Dallas side of the Metroplex. A few isolated to scattered thunderstorms could pop up later this afternoon, but coverage looks limited, so many neighborhoods won’t see rain at all.

Tonight, any evening storm chance fades quickly, and skies will gradually clear out overnight. Lows will settle into the lower to middle 70s with light east winds, making for a fairly quiet night overall.

Tomorrow looks a little less hot, with mostly sunny skies and highs closer to the upper 80s. Rain chances stay low through the day, so it should be a calmer and slightly more comfortable afternoon compared to today.

Looking ahead, scattered storm chances begin to increase again late week and especially this weekend, with a more noticeable drop in temperatures into the 80s as cloud cover and rain become more common.
