A quiet and warm stretch continues across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex today. Expect plenty of sunshine from start to finish with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 80s to near 90. Winds stay light out of the south, but air quality could be an issue with an Ozone Action Day in effect.
Tonight looks calm and comfortable with clear to mostly clear skies and lows settling into the mid to upper 60s.
Tomorrow stays dry and even a little warmer. We’ll keep the sunshine around with highs pushing the upper 80s to lower 90s. South winds will pick up through the afternoon, making it feel a bit more summer-like heading into the end of the week.
Looking ahead, Friday turns breezier with gusts near 30 mph, and rain chances begin to return late Sunday into Monday and Tuesday. That next round could bring periods of showers and thunderstorms along with slightly cooler temperatures early next week.
