A quiet and pleasant night is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies stay clear with light south winds, and temperatures will fall into the lower 60s by early Wednesday morning.
Tomorrow looks warm and bright with plenty of sunshine. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 80s, and that warming trend continues through the end of the workweek. Expect highs near 90 Thursday and Friday, with a bit more south wind each afternoon. Nights will also turn milder, rising from the 60s into the lower 70s by the weekend.
The forecast stays mostly dry through Saturday, although clouds will gradually increase at times. By Sunday, a few showers or thunderstorms may begin to develop, mainly late in the day or Sunday night. Rain chances increase more noticeably Monday, when scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected around North Texas. It’s still a little early to lock in storm intensity, but Monday looks like the best chance for beneficial rain and a few heavier downpours.
