North Texas gets a quiet and very comfortable day across DFW. Expect plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs in the lower 80s, and just a little patchy fog early this morning in a few western spots before it quickly burns off. Winds stay light out of the south and southeast, so overall it’s a great-looking May day.
Tonight stays clear and calm with lows dropping back into the upper 50s to lower 60s around the Metroplex. It’ll be a mild and pleasant overnight with no weather concerns.
Tomorrow brings more sunshine and a noticeable warm-up. Highs climb into the upper 80s by Wednesday afternoon with light winds continuing. That warming trend keeps going through late week, with many spots nearing 90 by Thursday and Friday.
Looking ahead, the weekend stays mainly dry with only a small chance for an isolated shower or storm late Saturday night into Sunday. Better rain chances arrive Monday, when scattered showers and thunderstorms become more likely.
