North Texas stays quiet tonight as the leftover showers fade and skies remain mostly cloudy across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It’ll feel much cooler than recent nights, with lows settling into the lower to middle 50s and a light north breeze hanging around.
Tomorrow looks much better. We’ll start with plenty of clouds in the morning, then see some gradual clearing by afternoon. Temperatures rebound nicely into the mid 70s, still a little below average but much more comfortable.
By Friday, the warming trend continues with highs returning to around 80 to the lower 80s. Rain chances also begin to creep back in, but the better opportunity for scattered showers and thunderstorms appears to hold off until later Friday into the weekend. Coverage still looks spotty around the Metroplex, though a few stronger downpours can’t be ruled out at times. Expect highs in the 80s Saturday and Sunday, followed by drier air and sunshine early next week. Monday looks pleasant, and by Tuesday we’re pushing the upper 80s again.
