Quiet and pleasant weather continues tonight across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex with mostly clear skies and lows near 60.
Monday looks warm and breezy with plenty of sunshine. Highs will climb into the middle 80s, and south winds will pick up through the afternoon with gusts around 30 mph at times. Monday night stays mild and more humid, with clouds starting to increase and temperatures only falling into the upper 60s to near 70.
Tuesday turns even warmer, with highs pushing close to 90 to the lower 90s in parts of North Texas. Most of the day stays dry, but the next rain chance begins to arrive Tuesday night and continues into Wednesday. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms look most likely during that window, and while this does not appear to be an all-day washout, a few spots could pick up locally heavier rain. Behind that system, cooler air settles in with highs dropping back to the low 70s Thursday. A few small rain chances return Friday into Saturday.
A brief round of rain and thunder could affect Wednesday plans, followed by a noticeable cool-down late week.
