A warm North Texas evening is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with most spots staying quiet overnight. A stray shower or thunderstorm is still possible this evening, mainly northeast of Dallas, but most neighborhoods should turn partly cloudy later tonight with lows settling into the mid 60s.
Tomorrow brings another warm day with highs pushing the upper 80s to lower 90s. We’ll keep a small chance for a pop-up shower or thunderstorm during the afternoon, but many areas will stay dry. Storm chances inch up a bit Saturday night, especially east and northeast of the Metroplex, where a few rounds of rain could develop.
Sunday and Monday look mainly warm and breezy, with highs back in the lower 90s and only very isolated storm chances. By Tuesday through Thursday, the pattern turns a little more active with scattered showers and thunderstorms returning at times. Temperatures will also ease back, dropping from the upper 80s Tuesday to near 80 by Thursday.
If you have outdoor plans Saturday night or again midweek, keep an eye on the radar for occasional storms.
