Today’s DFW Forecast

After a cloudy start, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex will turn warmer and brighter through the day with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 80s. Most of Dallas and Tarrant County stay dry, but a stray shower or thunderstorm can’t be ruled out, especially east and northeast of the city. Winds stay out of the south to southwest around 10 to 15 mph before easing a bit later today.

Tonight looks mainly quiet with partly cloudy skies early, then more clouds drifting back in overnight. Lows will settle into the mid to upper 60s, and while an isolated evening storm is possible, most neighborhoods should stay dry.

Tomorrow stays warm and a little more humid, with a mix of clouds and sun and highs again in the mid to upper 80s. A spotty afternoon thunderstorm is possible, but coverage remains very limited, so many areas won’t see rain at all.

The bigger story is the continued warming trend into Sunday and Monday, with highs pushing near 90 to the lower 90s.
