Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A mild and breezy night is ahead across the Dallas-Fort Worth area with mostly cloudy skies and lows near 70. A stray shower or rumble of thunder can’t be ruled out north and northeast of the Metroplex, but most neighborhoods should stay dry through the overnight hours.

Friday looks warmer and brighter. Clouds early will give way to more sunshine by afternoon, and highs will climb into the upper 80s. Winds ease a bit and turn more southwesterly, so it should feel more like late spring by the end of the day. There is a small chance for an isolated storm Friday evening, but coverage should remain very limited.

The weekend stays warm with highs pushing the upper 80s Saturday and near 90 to the lower 90s Sunday into Monday. A few spotty evening or overnight storms are possible at times, but many places will stay dry. Better rain chances arrive Tuesday through Thursday with scattered showers and thunderstorms and a gradual cool-down by late week.
