Today’s DFW Forecast

Clouds will hang tough this morning across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but we should work into a brighter afternoon with at least some partial sunshine. Highs stay comfortable for late April, mostly in the upper 70s to near 80, with a breezy south wind picking up through the day.

Tonight stays mild and a little muggy with mostly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 60s. Most of the Metroplex should stay dry overnight, although a stray shower well north and northeast of DFW can’t be ruled out.

Tomorrow turns noticeably warmer. Morning clouds should give way to more sunshine by afternoon, pushing highs into the mid to upper 80s. A spotty late-day shower or thunderstorm is possible, but coverage looks very limited for Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, and surrounding communities. Any better storm chances remain off to the north and east of the core Metroplex.

Bottom line: no major weather problems through Friday, just warmer temperatures, gusty south winds, and a small storm chance late tomorrow.
