Today’s DFW Forecast

A cool, damp Tuesday is in store across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Showers are likely through the morning with a few thunderstorms mixed in, then rain coverage should gradually ease this afternoon. Even so, keep the umbrella close by because a few spotty showers may linger into the second half of the day. Highs will stay stuck in the lower 60s, well below the warmth we usually expect this time of year.

Tonight stays mostly cloudy and a little unsettled. Most of the evening looks fairly quiet, but another round of scattered showers could redevelop after midnight with a low-end thunder chance. Overnight lows will settle into the upper 50s.

By Wednesday, we start to turn the corner. There may still be a few morning showers or an isolated storm, but the trend is toward improving skies during the afternoon. Temperatures will rebound nicely, climbing into the upper 70s with a light south breeze.

Wet roads and occasional reduced visibility will be the main issues today, especially during the morning commute.
