A quiet and pleasant night is ahead for the Dallas-Fort Worth area with partly cloudy skies and lows settling near 50 degrees. Winds stay light out of the southeast, so it should be a comfortable evening and early Monday morning.
Tomorrow starts with a mix of sun and clouds, but skies will turn mostly cloudy through the day. Afternoon highs should reach the lower 70s, so temperatures stay mild. Most of the Metroplex looks dry during daylight hours Monday, with the better chance for rain holding off until late Monday night. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to develop after midnight and continue into Tuesday morning. Tuesday looks cooler, with highs mainly in the mid to upper 60s, and a few rounds of rain could linger into the afternoon.
Beyond that, rain chances don’t disappear completely. A few spotty showers or storms may hang around Wednesday, with another round possible Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. By Friday, temperatures warm back into the 80s with a more spring-like feel, and only isolated storm chances heading into next weekend.
