A clear, quiet night is ahead across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Skies will stay clear with light winds, and temperatures will fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday brings another bright and warm October day, with plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs in the mid 80s. A light northeast breeze will offer little relief during the warmest part of the day. An Ozone Action Day is in effect, so limiting unnecessary driving and outdoor burning can help improve air quality.
The dry pattern stays firmly in place through the weekend. Expect sunny days, mostly clear nights, highs generally in the mid 80s, and mornings in the 60s. Temperatures gradually edge warmer early next week, reaching the upper 80s by Columbus Day. Our next small rain chance does not arrive until next Tuesday afternoon, and it remains low at this point.
