North Texas is set for another bright, warm, and quiet day across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect plenty of sunshine through the afternoon, with highs reaching the mid-80s in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, and much of the surrounding area. A light northeast breeze will offer little relief, but humidity will remain low enough for a fairly comfortable fall feel.
An Ozone Action Day is in effect today, so residents sensitive to air quality may want to limit prolonged outdoor exertion during the warmest part of the afternoon.
Tonight will be clear and pleasant, with temperatures falling into the lower to mid-60s by early Thursday morning. Winds will become light overnight.
Thursday looks nearly identical: wall-to-wall sunshine, light northeast winds, and afternoon highs in the mid-80s. The dry, warm pattern continues into the weekend, with only a slight rain chance returning by Tuesday.
