Rain and a few thunderstorms will remain possible across the Metroplex this evening, with the better chance for steadier showers arriving after midnight. It will stay cloudy and mild, with lows in the upper 60s and light northeast winds. A Flood Watch remains in effect through 7 PM, so any downpours before then could quickly cause ponding on roads or localized flooding in low-lying spots.
Saturday will be gray, humid, and unsettled. Showers are likely in the morning, then become more scattered during the afternoon. A rumble of thunder is possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s.
A few leftover showers may linger Saturday night and early Sunday before skies gradually brighten. Sunday highs return to the lower 80s. Monday through Thursday look sunny and pleasant, with mornings in the upper 50s to low 60s and afternoons warming from the low 80s into the mid 80s. Friday could near 90.
Allow extra time tonight and Saturday morning, and never drive through water-covered roads.
