Rainy, cool weather will hold across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex today. Expect widespread showers, with occasional thunderstorms possible, especially through this afternoon. Highs will stay near 80 degrees in Dallas and the upper 70s around Fort Worth, with light north winds. A Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening, as pockets of heavy rain could quickly lead to street flooding and high water in low-lying areas.
Showers remain likely tonight, with a few thunderstorms possible, particularly after midnight. Lows will settle into the mid to upper 60s.
Saturday stays cloudy and damp. The best chance for showers will be during the morning, followed by scattered rain and an isolated storm during the afternoon. Highs will only reach the mid to upper 70s. Rain chances gradually diminish Sunday, with some afternoon breaks possible before sunshine returns early next week.
Avoid flooded roads today and tonight. Turn around, don’t drown.
