Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas will stay hot and mostly sunny today, with afternoon highs reaching the mid-90s across Dallas-Fort Worth. A stray shower or thunderstorm may develop west and north of the Metroplex late this afternoon, but most locations should remain dry through much of the day.

Clouds will increase tonight as rain and storm chances rise to 40 to 50 percent across the Metroplex. Lows will settle into the lower 70s. Any storm could bring brief downpours, lightning, and gusty winds.

Monday will remain humid, with highs in the lower 90s. There will be another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon, before north winds begin a subtle shift toward slightly less humid conditions. Rain chances will linger into Monday night, then skies trend sunnier Tuesday with highs in the lower 90s.

Keep an eye on the radar tonight and Monday, especially for outdoor plans.
