Today’s DFW Forecast

Another dangerous heat day is ahead across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Expect full sunshine, light south winds, and afternoon temperatures near 100 degrees in Dallas and Fort Worth, with upper 90s in some suburbs. A Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM, as hot pavement and limited shade will make outdoor activities especially uncomfortable.

Tonight stays mostly clear and warm, with lows only falling into the upper 70s. Thursday brings more of the same: mostly sunny skies, highs near 100, and heat index values reaching around 105 degrees during the afternoon.

The extended forecast keeps the heat locked in through the weekend, with rain chances holding off until late Sunday night and Monday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms may finally offer some relief early next week, along with highs easing into the 90s.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon, drink plenty of water, and never leave children or pets in vehicles.
