Tonight’s DFW Forecast

A clear and warm North Texas night is ahead, with light south winds and Metroplex lows settling into the upper 70s. Skies will remain mostly clear, offering no rain or storm concerns through the overnight hours.

Sunday brings another full day of sunshine and intense late-summer heat. Dallas and Fort Worth will top out near 101 to 102 degrees, with a light south breeze doing little to cool things down. Outdoor plans are rain-free, but the afternoon heat will be tough to handle.

The heat holds on into Monday, with highs near 100 to 102. A slight dip into the upper 90s is possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but humidity will increase the afternoon heat index to near 105 to 110 degrees. Highs rebound near 100 late week into next weekend, with dry skies continuing.

Heat remains the main concern. Limit strenuous afternoon activity, take frequent breaks, and check on vulnerable neighbors and pets.
