Today’s DFW Forecast

North Texas is in for another bright, dry, and very hot day. Dallas–Fort Worth will see plenty of sunshine with afternoon highs near 100 to 102 degrees. A light south wind around 5 to 10 mph will offer little relief during the hottest part of the day. Rain and storms are not expected across the Metroplex.

Tonight stays mostly clear and warm, with temperatures only falling into the upper 70s. South winds will continue lightly overnight, setting the stage for another hot finish to the weekend.

Sunday looks nearly identical: full sunshine, dry conditions, and highs around 100 to 101 degrees across DFW. The heat holds into next week, although highs may ease into the upper 90s at times. Humidity will become more noticeable, pushing afternoon heat index values above 105 degrees by Monday and potentially near 110 later in the week.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the afternoon, drink plenty of water, and check on those without reliable air conditioning.
