Tonight’s DFW Forecast

Tonight will stay clear, warm, and breezy across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, with south winds around 10 to 15 mph and lows only slipping into the upper 70s. There is no rain or storm chance in sight.

Wednesday brings another full day of sunshine and intense August heat. Highs will reach near 101 degrees in Dallas, Fort Worth, Denton, and surrounding communities, while afternoon heat index values climb to around 105. South winds will offer only limited relief.

The extended forecast remains locked into a hot, dry pattern through the weekend and into early next week. Highs will hover near 100 each afternoon, with warm nights in the mid to upper 70s. Thursday and Friday look especially uncomfortable, as heat index values may reach 107 to 110 degrees at times.

Limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day, drink plenty of water, and check on those without reliable air conditioning.
