Tonight will be mostly clear and warm across Dallas-Fort Worth, with temperatures only slipping into the upper 70s. A light south breeze will continue, offering little relief from the summer heat.
Thursday brings another full day of sunshine, with highs near 100 to 101 degrees across the Metroplex. Humidity will push heat index values up to around 107, and the Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8 PM Thursday. Friday looks even hotter, with afternoon temperatures climbing into the 102 to 104 degree range and feels-like temperatures near 110.
A weak chance for a shower or thunderstorm arrives late Friday night into Saturday, but most of DFW will likely stay dry. Saturday remains hot, though highs ease back into the upper 90s. Sunday offers a modest break with mid-90s, before upper 90s heat returns early next week.
Limit strenuous outdoor activities during the afternoon and stay hydrated.
